Track lot numbers and expiration dates with ease
The need to track lot numbers and expiration dates is most common in the food and medical industries. Having an easy scanning app that allows the user to receive, pull, and/or count lot numbers and expiration dates removes the friction from managing this inventory.
For lot numbers, TrackStock allows you to scan the item into inventory and get a list of the lot numbers that are still in inventory, which is especially helpful for cycle counts. If the user has to key in the lot number to count it, he could miss-key the number and now there is a new lot number in the inventory that will never be pulled because it is incorrect.
